Blue Leg Reef Hermit Crab Paguristes sp. do readily eat algae and detritus in the aquarium.

THE ISSUE WITH HERMITS IS PICKING THE CORRECT SPECIES

The blueleg are one of the most docile and small species that will not grow into massive bulldozers.  Their small size is fantastic for nooks and cranies.  Picking at areas and cleaning the rock works that other cleaners can not get to our have the tools(claw) to.
